This will assume you want every message entered into the journal. Otherwise you must hit the "J" key to copy the text into the journal.
This will eliminate all unique item restrictions. Turning this option ON is only available to registered users. Using this option will reduce victory points by 10%.
This will eliminate all types of weapon fumbling for both your party and all enemies. All fumbling spells will be worthless as well. Using this option will reduce victory points awarded by 5%.
The battle scene will not jump around to show the movement of each enemy during battle. This will speed up the battles a lot on slower machines.
Only game related Special Characters will be allowed to join the party. Other creatures will not be allowed to join with the party. (Special Characters reduce your Victory Points Awarded)
This will disable the ability for Realmz to play music files in the background completly. Music may slow down some older machines and cause problems with other systems.
If you attempt to attack an enemy with a missile weapon but are too close for missile weapons, your character will switch to their melee weapon and then attack.
This option will display extra info about each item in the Items/Trade/Shop screens. It shows the Damage and Armor Rating Adjustment and To Hit Adjustment below the item name.
Realmz will switch your main monitor to 256 colors on startup without bothering to ask you first.
At the end of each round a message is displayed to announce the beginning of the next round. This option will turn that message off.
At the end of each round a warning message is displayed reminding you of bleeding characters. This option will turn that message off.
The only way to bandage a character in combat is to click the bandage button or type 'B' on the keyboard. If you hit the 'Auto' button your character will NOT bandage another bleeding character by default.
This will blank out the desktop. This will make the display look nice but you will have to select 'Hide Realmz' from the application menu to switch Realmz to the backgroud.
Faster spell resolution will assign damage to all affected creatures in a quicker way. This can speed up large battles by quite a bit.
Spell descriptions will be shown during the spell selection process.
This will eliminate some sounds played when switching between areas such as the shops, temples or the items screen.
This option will display the characters caste on the characters portrait.
Will change the colors of the menus to the default colors of your system.
This will change the font to a less artistic font.
With this option ON, the first member who is capable of casting Identify Objects, will attempt to cast it on new treasure during the collection of treasure.
When you trade or buy items from the shop, they will be combined with similar items instead of remaining as a seperate bundle. This only works for some items like torches, parchment, darts etc...
If your character does not have enough gold to purchase an item, gems and jewelry will be cashed in to make enough to buy the item.
This option eliminates the need to drag items left or right across the screen to trade or buy items. The dragging of items can sometimes cause problems on some AV machines. Turning this option on may help.
With this option ON, if you try and leave the treasure collection screen while money is still in the money pool, you will be asked if you wish to go back for it.
With this option on you will have to hold the command key to drop items. This will help prevent you from dropping items by accident.
With this option on Realmz will attempt to allocate 4 sound channels instead of only 3. This will help keep the sounds from lagging behind.
This will increase the speed that spells move across the screen to their targets. (For those that hate to wait.)
When a character is selecting spells, it will default to the last spell cast by that character. Otherwise it will reset to first level spells.
